Neuro-Apocalypse is about the veils arising in the course of cognition, and the revelations that cut them down. As the Word develops in the mouths of newborns, frameworks of thought are established in language and culture. They influence how we perceive the world, and how we internally represent it. Looking beyond the web of words, Nemu explores savant skills emerging in autism and trans-cranial magnetic stimulation, the wit in the tics of Tourette’s and the super-strength of people in life-threatening situations. Synaesthesia and other extraordinary experiences are described in the Bible, alongside a stash of psychoactive agents and instructions on how to use them. What can the characters and techniques of this ancient legend reveal about managing our compulsions, aspirations and inspirations, the gods at work in our heads?

Transhumanism: A Grimoire of Alchemical Agendas

“The ultimate question is no longer “who am I” or “why am I here.” These questions were answered in the earliest civilizations by philosophers and priests. Today we live in an age of such rapid advances in technology and science that the ultimate question must be rephrased: what shall we be? This book investigates what may become of human civilization, who is setting the agenda for a trans-humanistic civilization, and why . The modern Victor Frankenstein holds a high political office, carries diplomatic immunity, and is most likely funded by the largest corporations worldwide. His method is ancient: alchemy. His fraternities are well known and their secrets are well kept, but his goal of times past and present is the same; he dares to become as god, genetically manipulating the seeds of the earth, the beasts on the fields, and to claim legal ownership over humanity by re-creating it in his own image. This is no fairy tale, science fiction, or conspiracy theory… it simply is! Transhumanism, a Grimoire of Alchemical Agendas by Drs. Joseph P. Farrell and Scott D. de Hart lifts the veil from the macabre transhumanistic monster being assembled and exposes the hidden history and agenda that has set humanity on a collision course for the Apocalypse. Joseph P. Farrell, PhD, is the author of the best-selling Genes, Giants, Monsters, and Men: The Surviving Elites of the Cosmic War and Their Hidden Agenda.” (publisher’s blurb)

The Underground Lifestyles Handbook

First Edition.
19.5cm x 13cm. 192 pages, black and white illustrations. Lettered wrappers.
An early non-fiction work by successful American author Dean Koontz originally submitted to Aware Press as a completed manuscript titled Going Underground. The publisher proceeded to have the work rewritten and published under this new title without Koontz’s knowledge. The changes were so substantial Koontz disavowed any claim of authorship. Likewise Gerda, Dean’s wife, made no contribution to the text despite being credited. Nonetheless an entertaining account of underground subcultures with chapters including Life in The Commune, Interview With A Groupie, Getting Busted, Body Painting and Sex Films, and more. Illustrations by Doug Lovenstein.
